World Press Photo 2019 Filmavond Grote Kerk Academiehuis

Pop Up Cinema: World Press Photo en Fraterhuis

Op zaterdag 7 december is in Academiehuis de Grote Kerk het eenmalige en unieke decor van een filmavond met als thema ’venster op de wereld’; persoonlijke verhalen binnen een grotere problematiek waarbinnen wanhoop én hoop een centrale rol spelen. Zowel de prijswinnaars 2019 als enkele genomineerden zullen vertoond worden op het grote Fraterhuis filmdoek als bijzondere aanvulling op de fototentoonstelling 2019.

Samenwerking
De samenwerking tussen Filmtheater Fraterhuis en Academiehuis de Grote Kerk heeft geleid tot een nieuwe opzet van de jaarlijkse World Press Photo tentoonstelling. Voor het eerst is de tentoonstelling in Zwolle (30 november – 22 december) te bewonderen met bewegend beeld; namelijk de 2019 editie van World Press Digital Storytelling. Mede mogelijk gemaakt door de Zwolse Kunstvrienden.

Praktisch
De World Press Photo filmavond in Academiehuis de Grote Kerk is op zaterdag 7 december 2019 om 20.00 uur (Grote Kerk geopend vanaf 19.30 uur). In het kader van het 40-jarig jubileum hanteert het Fraterhuis speciale feestprijzen. De toegang is €2,50 (Vrienden) / €5,00 (regulier). De kaartverkoop verloopt via Filmtheater Fraterhuis (online of aan de kassabalie) en een half uur voor aanvang in Academiehuis de Grote Kerk. In de Grote Kerk is uitsluitend contante betaling mogelijk.
