Fraterhuis

		Leto Biopic over de muziekscene in Leningrad vlak voor de Perestrojka, gebaseerd op de beginjaren van popicoon Viktor Tsoï en zijn legendarische band Kino. Leningrad, de vroege jaren 80. Aan de vooravond van de Perestrojka worden elpees van Lou Reed, Blondie en David Bowie het land in gesmokkeld, de bruisende underground muziekscene is in volle gang. Hier ontmoet muzikant Viktor de charismatische zanger Mike en zijn vrouw Natasha. Terwijl er tussen hen een bijzondere driehoeksverhouding ontstaat, willen de muzikanten met hun optredens de boel flink opschudden om rock ‘n roll in de Sovjet Unie voorgoed te veranderen. Met humor en lef gaan de bands de censuur te lijf, al dan niet in hun fantasie. ‘Leto’ toont in weelderig zwart-wit de beginjaren van rocklegende Viktor Tsoï en is een film vol muziek, vriendschap en liefde, waarin rebellie afgewisseld wordt met surrealistische intermezzo’s en wild bekraste beelden.
